Slow mappings of finite distortion (Q453424)

The authors extend previous work by Bonk and Heinonen on quasiconformal mappings with values in Riemannian manifolds. They examine mappings of finite distortion and use integral type isoperimetric inequalities to obtain Liouville type growth results under mild assumptions on the distortion of the mappings and the geometry of the manifolds. These conditions involve integrability of distortion function and nonvanishing of cohomology of the target domain.
