On a scale function for testing the conformality of a Finsler manifold to a Berwald manifold (Q557182)

The author considers a Finsler manifold which is conformal to a Berwald manifold. He gives a necessary condition for testing the conformality. A necessary and sufficient condition is also given in terms of a distinguished linear connection on the underlying manifold. Finally, special cases of Randers manifolds are considered with some explicit calculations.
