This article is an announcement of his result which appeared in Kōdai Math. J. 9, 206-214 (1986). Let N(g,K) be the maximum of the orders of the conformal automorphism groups of compact bordered Riemann surfaces of genus g and k boundary components. He determined N(5,k) for every non- negative integer k.
