A quadrature rule of interpolatory type is constructed by use of trigonometric interpolation for the computation of Cauchy integrals. The authors obtain the same error bound \(O(|a_N^N |)\) as did \textit{T. Hasegawa} and \textit{T. Torii} [Math. Comput. 56, No. 194, 741-754 (1991; Zbl 0725.65025)]. Numerical examples are given.
