The author presents a new oscillation criterion for a class of second-order nonlinear functional-differential equations NEWLINE\[NEWLINE x''(t)+p(t)f(x(t),x(\tau(t)))g'(x'(t))=0 NEWLINE\]NEWLINE by using the integral averaging technique. There are many similar results in the literature.
