The author proposes a more compact form of the algorithm from the paper by \textit{S. Hou} and \textit{W. Pang} [Comput. Math. Appl. 43, No.~12, 1539--1547 (2002; Zbl 1002.65036)] for the inverse of a confluent Vandermonde matrix and provides an explicit description of the inverses entries.
