In this paper, the authors correct and improve the proofs of the main lemmas in a very recent publication [\textit{B. Zeng}, Nonlinear Anal., Real World Appl. 66, Article ID 103535, 21 p. (2022; Zbl 1481.49008)], in which the hypotheses of boundedness, coerciveness and relaxed monotonicity for the operators are considered.
