    The analytical properties of solutions of the system\N\[\N\begin{aligned}\Nz^{2}u'&=z^{2}v+(1-l)zu-u^{2}v,\\\Nz^{2}v'&=-z^{2}u+lzv+uv^{2}(l=\mathrm{constant})\N\end{aligned}\N\]\Nare studied in the paper. It is shown that the solutions of the system have the Painlevé properties. Furthermore, this system can be reduced to the fifth Painlevé equation.
