Meissner polyhedra are constant width bodies whose boundaries consist of pieces of spheres and spindle tori.\N\NThe author explains the construction via some surgeries of Reuleaux polyhedra and gives a new proof that Meissner polyhedra are dense within the space of constant width bodies.
