The author introduces a kind of semi-precompactness axiom, a stronger form of Lowen's strong fuzzy compactness axiom for L=[0,1], see [\textit{R. Lowen}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 64, 446--454 (1978; Zbl 0381.54004)], in \(L\)-topological spaces for \(L\) a Hutton algebra; he also investigates some properties of such \(L\)-topological spaces. For a further discussion, the readers are suggested to refer to [\textit{S.-G. Li, L.-L. Zhang} and \textit{Z.-B. Xu}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 147, 293--306 (2004; Zbl 1079.54007)].
