The authors use the Rabinowitz-Floer homology approach to study semilinear elliptic problems featuring jumping nonlinearities of type \[ -\Delta u=\lambda_+u_+^p-\lambda_-u_-^p\quad\text{ in }M, \] where \(M=S^1\times N\) with \(N\) a compact manifold. The associated elliptic systems with perturbed terms are also analyzed.
