The paper establishes an especially symmetrical presentation for the monoid of all non-bijective partially defined injective transformations of a finite set. The generators for this presentation are all elements of corank one obtained from transpositions by ignoring one of the two non-identity arrows. There are seven families of relations. The longest occurring word in these relations has length four.
