This paper investigates solutions of the biharmonic equations \(\Delta^ 2u=0\) and multiharmonic equation in a domain of revolution using the relation of harmonic axisymmetric conjugacy. The result generalizes a classical result of E. Almansi and is applied to describe the solutions of the displacement equation in the linear theory of elasticity of isotropic homogeneous media.
