Let L be a union of open arcs, and \(\psi\) (x,y) a kernel given in terms of the zero-th order Hankel function of the second kind. The author proves the existence and uniqueness of a solution to the Fredholm integral equation \[ \int_{L}\psi (x,y)\tau (y)ds_ y=g(x),\quad x\in L, \] where g is an arbitrarily given distribution on L.
