Let X be a projectively normal submanifold of the projective complex space P and denote by \(\hat P\) the completion of P along X. One announces a theorem on the effect that a section of the bundle \(\Omega^ 1_ P(\nu)| X\) can be lifted to a formal section in \(H^ 0(\hat P,{\hat \Omega}^ 1_ P(\nu))\) iff its first obstruction vanishes.
