Using the area vector of a closed dual spherical curve, the authors examine integral invariants of ruled surfaces in the space of lines corresponding to the closed spherical curve. The transference principle is investigated, and Jacobi theorems are given with a different method. As an effective tool in studying spatial kinematics, this work is a nice contribution to the rational problems of spatial mechanisms.
