Approximation of bounded variation functions by a Bézier variant of the Bleimann, Butzer, and Hahn operators (Q884229)

The authors investigate the rate of convergence of the Bézier variant of Bleimann, Butzer, and Hahn operators on bounded variation functions. They give a sharp estimate which improves the results established by \textit{H. M. Srivastava} and \textit{V. Gupta} [Appl. Math. Lett. 18, No. 8, 849--857 (2005; Zbl 1084.41010)] and \textit{J. de la Cal} and \textit{V. Gupta} [J. Inequal. Pure Appl. Math. 6, No. 1, Paper No. 4 (2005; Zbl 1085.41016)].
