One step in a paper by \textit{A. Regev} and the reviewer [ibid. 5, No.3, 189-191 (1984; Zbl 0555.05009)] was only outlined, and the details are not trivial. These details are given in the present paper. A nice algorithm which increases the degree of a Young diagram is given, when it is possible to increase the degree.
