The author shows how to obtain from total valencies presentations of periodic maps by Dehn twists, up to isotopy and conjugacy. More precisely, for oriented closed surfaces of genus at most \(4\), the author gives a list of presentations of periodic maps in terms of Dehn twists. Subsequently, this is then used to derive examples of non-holomorphic Lefschetz fibrations.
