In August 1888, there was a celebrated mathematical meeting in Wernigerode (a small tourist town situated in Northern Germany). At that meeting were present Karl Weierstrass, Sonja Kovalevskaja, Gösta Mittag-Leffler, Vito Volterra, Georg Cantor, Adolf Hurwitz and Hermann Schwarz. They discussed about different mathematical problems \dots and also about the liberation of the women.
