On pseudomanifolds with boundary. I (Q1207401)

This paper establishes a property about pseudomanifolds with boundary. An interesting corollary of the property is the following Theorem: The topological product of a nondiscrete space and an \(n\)-dimensional nonorientable pseudomanifold with boundary cannot be embedded in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\). A special case of this theorem is that the product of a Möbius band and a nondiscrete space cannot be embedded in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\).
