Finite-dimensional representations of the algebras of monodromy matrices for \(\text{sl}(n)\)-trigonometric \(R\)-matrices (or trigonometric Yangians, in other terminology) are studied for \(q\) a root of unity. The construction of a generic representation as tensor product of some elementary representations is given. A family of factorized intertwining operators between tensor products of some cocommuting representations is constructed. The corresponding chiral Potts models are discussed.
