The authors introduce completely irresolute and weakly completely irresolute functions in fuzzy setting; some examples along with characterization theorems are given. The compositions of fuzzy completely irresolute functions with other fuzzy functions are studied. Finally, the problem of preservation of some fuzzy topological structures under the newly introduced mappings is studied with special reference to nearly compact, semicompact, semi \(\theta\)-compact and semi-connected fuzzy topological spaces.
