Oscillation of second-order perturbed nonlinear difference equations. (Q1405062)

The authors use the Riccati transformation techniques to establish some new oscillation criteria for the second-order perturbed nonlinear difference equation \[ \Delta a_{n-1}(\Delta x_{n-1})^\gamma+F(n, x_n)=G(n, x_n, \Delta x_n), \quad n\geq 1 \] where \(\gamma= \text{odd/odd}>0\). Some comparison between the theorems obtained in this paper and those previously known results are indicated. Examples are inserted in the text to illustrate the relevance of the results.
