The paper considers the output stabilizability problem of nonlinear systems. For the case of a nonlinear continuous smooth system it is shown that stabilizability is provided by complete uniform controllability and the existence of exponentially stable observer is due to its complete uniform stabilizability. For the case of a nonlinear discrete system the synthesis of a stabilizing control by observer is obtained.
