The authors give a new variational formula of Schläfli type for the volume of a pseudo-simplex with spherical faces in the Euclidean space. In order to derive it they apply a variational formula which is involved in hypergeometric integrals associated with hypersphere arrangements and Cayley-Menger determinants and is presented in another article written by the same authors.
