A new residual generation and evaluation method for detection and isolation of faults in nonlinear systems (English)
0 references
The author proposes a new method based on an observer and on a set of adaptive observers such that each of the last ones estimates the state variables and one does the same for the parameters of the monitored (nonlinear) dynamical system. The residual generation and the evaluation are described in detail. As an illustrative example the simulation of a controlled satellite is considered.
