The author finds again general congruences concerning class numbers and units of fields \(\mathbb{Q}(\sqrt{\pm d})\), \(d\mid 2m\), \(m\) given. The results are identical with those of the reviewer [Acta Arith. 52, No. 2, 147--162 (1989; Zbl 0618.12004)], but the author explains with many details how these congruences contain many previous ones (i.e. those of Gras, Hardy-Williams, Hikita, Kaplan, Kaplan-Williams, Kudo, Lang, Lang and Schertz, Williams) [for other references, see the previous review, Zbl 0693.12005)].
