The Galois group of a radical extension of the rationals (Q753866)

Die Autoren geben eine explizite Beschreibung der Galoisgruppe eines irreduziblen Binoms \(X^ n-a\in \mathbb Q[X]\) als volle Untergruppe des semidirekten Produkts \(G=(\mathbb Z/n\mathbb Z)\rtimes (\mathbb Z/n\mathbb Z)^{\times}\) (eine Untergruppe von \(G\) heißt voll, wenn ihre Projektionen auf beide Faktoren surjektiv sind). Ferner wird gezeigt, daß jede volle Untergruppe von \(G\) Galoisgruppe eines geeigneten irreduziblen Binoms über \(\mathbb Q\) ist.
