The authors discuss the calculation of the demagnetisation curves of a single place nanocrystaline PrFeB magnet using the Gauss-Seidel method [\textit{Weinan E} and \textit{Xiao-Ping Wang}, SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 38, No. 5, 1647--1665 (2000; Zbl 0988.65079), and with \textit{Carlos J. GarcĂa-Cervera}, J. Comput. Phys. 171, No. 1, 357--372 (2001; Zbl 1012.82002)] and the relation with the Landau-Lipschitz-Hilbert equation. It is pointed out that there are four different types of energy: Zeeman; magnetocrystalline anisotropic; exchange; stray field. The demagnetisation curves are calculated for a number of cases and some derivative methods are proposed for the solution of the Landau-Lipschitz equation. The results are illustrated by a number of diagrams.
