The construct \textbf{FNCS} of fuzzy neighbourhood convergence spaces and that of fuzzy topological spaces \textbf{FTS} can both be embedded in the construct \textbf{FCS} as full subconstructs [\textit{N. Blasco} and \textit{R. Lowen}, ibid. 76, No. 3, 395-406 (1995; Zbl 0851.54005); \textit{E. Lowen, R. Lowen} and \textit{P. Wuyts}, ibid. 40, No. 2, 347-373 (1991; Zbl 0728.54001)]. It is shown in this note that the meet of \textbf{FNCS} and \textbf{FTS} in \textbf{FCS} is just the construct \textbf{FNS} of fuzzy neighbourhood spaces [\textit{R. Lowen}, ibid. 7, 165-189 (1982; Zbl 0487.54008)].
